Burger patties
  1. 1 lb ground chicken
  2. 1⁄4 cup grated Parmesan
  3. 1⁄4 cup bread crumbs
  4. 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  5. 3 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  6. 1 garlic clove
  7. 1 green onion
Toppings
  1. Pizza sauce
  2. More Parmesan for topping
  3. Hamburger buns
Instructions
  1. To make the burger patties, mix together everything under the burger patties ingredient list. Form the mixture into 4 patties. If you’ve got time, refrigerate for about 30 minutes to allow the flavors to mingle.
  2. Preheat the broiler. Broil the burgers for 5-6 minutes on each side, until cooked through and starting to brown a little. Top each burger with pizza sauce (recipe earlier in the book, or store-bought) and some more shredded Parmesan. Place back under the broiler for about a minute, until the cheese is melted. Serve on toasted hamburger buns.
