Ingredients
  1. 1 stick of butter
  2. a handful of herbs
  3. coarse salt
  4. pepper
  5. olive oil
  6. radishes
  7. bread
  8. green onions
Instructions
  1. Cut the stick of butter into tablespoon-sized slices and place in a bowl. Let the butter come to room temperature. In the mean time, chop a handful of herbs; I had some parsley, lemon thyme, rosemary and oregano growing in the garden. Add herbs to the bowl with the butter. Sprinkle with a bit of coarse sea salt and pepper. Don't use as much sea salt as you would like, because we'll add some more salt later; just a pinch or two. Drizzle just a bit of olive oil over it. Mix everything together using a fork.
  2. Spread the herbed butter over the sliced bread; good Italian or French bread is ideal. When you have such few ingredients, it's best to use the best quality you can find. Top the buttered bread with thinly sliced radishes and some green onions.
  3. Enjoy as a snack on a beautiful summer afternoon!
