Chicago in October

I live about 4 miles away from work and every now and then, when the weather is nice, I walk home. Here in Chicago we’ve had a gorgeous autumn, so I’ve taken the opportunity to walk home as often as possible. On this beautiful day in October I grabbed my camera and decided to take some pictures.

My walk home takes me through Lincoln Park, a place that can feel so secluded at times, only offering sneak peaks of the city behind the trees…
…but the cars are never too far away.

I’ve been living in Chicago since 2003, but I never really took the time to take pictures of it. I’m sooo looking forward to December, so I can snap some photos of my town during holiday season when everything lights up!
